From the outside, everything looks shiny and perfect

You’re both successful, outgoing, and have a great group of friends. What others can’t see is that the same issue is working its way into every conversation you have with your partner and you’re feeling disconnected, unsatisfied, and lonely - even when you’re together.

  • Do you tiptoe around difficult conversations because you’re afraid of how your partner will react? “I don’t want to stir the pot…”

  • Do you yearn for the time when you felt close and connected?

  • Has the well run dry when it comes to your non-existent sexual life?

  • Do you have a solid relationship and feel connected to your partner AND want to get ahead of the game and set your relationship up for a healthy future with your partner?

  • Are you reeling from the aftermath of infidelity, or conversations about divorce?

  • You’re feeling missed or misunderstood or feeling like you have to be the strong one and keep it all together. And when your head hits the pillow at night, your mind is racing about whether or not this relationship is going to survive.

Many clients come to me during difficult transitions: separation/divorce, emerging adulthood, self-discovery, or seeking deeper connections. If you're facing these challenges, know that you're not alone—and change is possible.

As a Guyanese American immigrant and a Christian mystic, I understand the complex layers of identity, culture, and spirituality. My work is deeply informed by my training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Schema Therapy, and Jungian Psychology. I seek to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and understand your emotions, uncover the root causes of relationship struggles, and find deeper connection with yourself and others.

Through careful reflection and insightful questioning, clients often share that they begin to see things from new perspectives, make connections they hadn’t noticed before, and gain a clearer understanding of their emotional needs and patterns. In our work together, I hope to help you explore the deeper layers of your thoughts and experiences, fostering self-awareness, emotional grounding, and a sense of empowerment. My approach allows clients to feel seen, validated, and encouraged as they navigate personal growth and relationships.

Taking the first step can feel difficult, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I’d be honored to support you on this journey. Click below to schedule a consultation or call me directly at 562-548-7639
